Language-Based Learning Differences
At Tannenbaum Tutors, we utilize the Orton Gillingham approach, a collection of evidence-based principles for helping students with dyslexia and/or dysgraphia. It’s grounded in the idea that remediation for reading, writing, and spelling needs to be phonics-based, multisensory, and present content in small, distinct units explicitly laid out in a logical sequence. All of these principles are integral for addressing the struggles that arise from language-based learning differences.
